Privacy Policy
Dear clients,
We would like to inform you that, in connection with our veterinary treatment and preventive activities, we process, as data controller, the personal data you provide to us (i.e. the personal data of owners, keepers or other persons who entrust an animal to us for professional veterinary care), to the extent necessary to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations.
To the extent necessary to protect our rights and legal claims, we will process your personal data in a proportionate manner on the basis of so-called legitimate interest.
We assure you that the security of your data and its lawful processing is our priority.
We will process your data only for the purposes stated below and only for as long as necessary for those purposes, and no longer than 5 years after the end of the veterinary services under the relevant contract, unless a longer period results from legal regulations.
Obligation to provide personal data
With the exceptions stated below, providing your personal data is a contractual requirement or follows directly from legal regulations. Without it we would not be able to provide the requested veterinary services to your animals or to fulfil our legal obligations towards you or your animal companions.
Processing of contact details
If we have agreed to do so, we will send you SMS or email notifications about upcoming vaccination dates or information about the operation of our veterinary clinic (changes in opening hours, holidays, etc.).
Providing your contact details is not mandatory. If you do not agree to their processing for the purposes above, or for only some of them, please tell us in person at the surgery or in writing using the contact details below. Likewise, if you change your mind in the future, you can object to any unwanted processing at any time. If you use either of these options, we will stop the processing to the relevant extent without further ado.
The recipients of personal data are entities to which the data must be passed under legal regulations. Your personal data is also processed through the secure veterinary application Vetbook (Kamil Mrázek, Erbenova 807, 739 61 Třinec, Czech Republic) and the Wix platform (Wix.com Inc., 500 Terry A. Francois Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94158, USA), on which the booking system and website are run. These providers therefore have access to your personal data as processors to the extent necessary under applicable law, see the links above.
